2010 LAUNCH LEAP PARTY
OFFICIAL RULES AND CONDITIONS

SPONSOR

Leap Launch Party 2010 (the "Contest") is sponsored by Leap Books, LLC, mailing address: P.O. Box 112, Reidsville, NC 27320-0112 (the "Sponsor").

ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not improve your chances of winning. To enter, go to http://www.leapbks.com, and download one of the weekly badges (a “Widget”) and place it on your Internet site—e.g., website, blog, or social media site (the "Site"). Then send an email to contests@leapbks.com with your name, your email address, and the Site to which you posted the Widget. Enter as often as you wish, but each entry must include a different Widget or be downloaded to a different Site. The same Widget downloaded more than once to the same Site will be disqualified as a new entry.

Contest is open to legal residents of the United States ages 13 and up as of September 15, 2009, excluding employees and immediate family members of the Sponsor, and its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, assigns, advertising, promotional and fulfillment agents, attorneys, and other representatives and the persons with whom each of the above are domiciled. Offer void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

Each entrant in the Contest must be the rightful owner or have authorized use of the Site account that the contestant enters. In the event of a dispute concerning the identity of the winner submitting an entry, the winner will be deemed to be the person in whose name the Site account is opened. Authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned the Site address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning Site addresses or the domain name associated with the submitted Site address.

ENTRY PERIOD

Contest will commence on September 15, 2009 (1:00:00 A.M. EST), and all entries must be received by December 31, 2009 (11:59:59 P.M. EST).

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS

Potential winners of advance review copies (“ARCs”) will be selected every other week from all entries received that meet all the qualifications set forth at the Leap Books website (www.leapbks.com) for receiving review copies of Leap Books. Selections will begin after Leap Books ARCs have become available and will continue until March 31, 2010.

Potential winners of Leap Launch Party 2010 prizes will be selected on or about January 1, 2009. All potential winners will be notified by e-mail and requested to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility. If the potential winner fails to return the executed Affidavit of Eligibility within 14 days of notification, an alternate potential winner will be chosen.

PRIZES

Eighteen (18) Advanced Reader Copies (“ARCs”) of one of three (3) Leap Books titles will be awarded to book reviewers with a total estimated retail value of $257.82.

Twenty (20) Leap T-shirts will be awarded to Leap Launch Party 2010 contestants with a total
estimated retail value of $299.80.

Twenty (20) Leap bags will be awarded to Leap Launch Party 2010 contestants with a total
estimated retail value of $339.80.

One (1) Kasey Maxwell charm bracelet and (1) Eryn McCain necklace will be awarded to Leap Launch Party 2010 contestants with a total estimated retail value of $35.00.

Two hundred (200) Leap buttons will be awarded to Leap Launch Party 2010 contestants with a total estimated retail value of $798.00.

Approximate retail value of all prizes: US $1,730.42.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received for the Contest. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or redeemed for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize is unavailable. All federal, state, and local taxes are the sole responsibility of winner.

CONDITIONS

By entering this Contest, entrants signify their acceptance of the Official Rules as well as all decisions of the judges, which will be final in all respects, and to waive any claim to ambiguity of the Official Rules.

By accepting prizes, the winners agree to grant Sponsor, and its licensees, affiliates, and assigns, a perpetual, non-exclusive and royalty-free license to use and publicly display the winner's name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, and biographical information as news or information in any and all media, now known and hereafter devised, including but not limited to the Internet, at any time or times, and for any purposes, including advertisement and promotion, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

The entrants release, discharge, and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, assigns, attorneys, representatives and agents, including advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, from any and all liability or damages arising from the use of any prize awarded and the administration of the Contest, including, without limitation, the following: (i) late, lost, incomplete, delayed, misdirected, or unintelligible entries, (ii) any printing, typographical, administrative, or technological errors in any materials associated with the Contest, and (iii) any damage to the entrant's computer, related equipment, data files, and/or software resulting from entrant's downloading of information regarding the Contest or participation in the Contest.

Sponsor may only use the personally identifiable information obtained from the entrants in accordance with its privacy policy.

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, cancel or suspend this Contest should a virus, bug, computer problem or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt the administration, security or proper operation of the Contest. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds, in its sole discretion, to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or Sponsor's website; to be in violation of the Sponsor’s terms of use; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; to be acting in violation of any law; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.

Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage the website or undermine the operation of the contest may be in violation of criminal and civil laws, and, in such event, sponsor reserves the right to pursue its remedies and damages (including costs and attorney's fees) to the fullest extent of the law.

The contest is governed by, and these rules will be construed and interpreted pursuant to, the laws of the United States. Any dispute arising from the Contest will be determined according to the laws of the State of Wyoming, without reference to its conflict of laws principles, and the entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the State and Federal Courts located in the State of Wyoming and the County of Park over them and agree that such courts have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
