Teen Reading Club: Summer Author Chats

This summer, LEAP authors, Judith Graves and Kitty Keswick participated in author chats for a library-based, international online teen reading club. Librarians from across Canada and beyond, moderate discussion forums on various YA bookish themes. Targeted at teens between the ages of 13 to 19, this Teen Reading Club is geared to the exact audience Judith and Kitty write for! Each summer the reading club changes up its theme and website, the new one was unveiled on June 15, 2009. Teens are invited to enter book reviews, chat with authors and teens in a safe online environment (teens don't use their real names, etc.). They can even win prizes! "TeenRC is run by the British Columbia Library Association with the generous support of the British Columbia Ministry of Education, Shirley Bond, Minister."
